Gavin Baker

Before joining the firm Baker was responsible for social and emerging media at Ruby Tuesday Inc., a global hospitality company with over 900 locations worldwide. He has a track record of using technologies to help people and businesses connect. Baker has spoken at conferences such as Social Fresh - Nashville, TN and Social Media Business Forum - Durham, NC on using social and digital media to connect with customers and build business as well as local events such as the Knoxville Social Media Association's Social Media Summit, University of Tennessee MBA and Executive MBA classes.

Before joining Ruby Tuesday, Baker was the CEO of Abunga.com, a book e-commerce site that donated a percentage of each purchase to a nonprofit.

Originally from St. Louis, Baker serves as vice chair of marketing and communications for Young Professionals of Knoxville, is on the steering committee of Knoxville Social Media Association (KSMA) and is active in Entrepreneurs of Knoxville and Cornerstone Church of Knoxville. He is 2009 alumni of Introduction Knoxville. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Messiah College.
