What we did:
In early 2012, Lamar Dunn & Associates was ready to reinvent its water engineering firm. After more than 30 years, company founder Lamar Dunn was leaving as CEO and allowing a new leader to take the helm. More focus needed to be placed on the engineering team, which had expanded from Dunn, a secretary and a draftsman in 1982 to more than 15 licensed engineers in five Tennessee cities.
A new name and identity would make the transition complete. Moxley Carmichael crafted the brand statement, developed a new logo, stationery, marketing materials, presentation and proposal materials and created a new website for LDA Engineering – a name that respected the past while underscoring the firm’s new identity.
